MPIII Rescu Charity Event
MPIII held its fourth annual Rescu Charity Show over Memorial Day weekend, raising over $500!
We wanted to thank everyone contributing to this event.
Special Kudos to:
- Dr. Kaboom
- Patrick H.
- Richard P.
- Jill H.
- Amy and Steph!
We especially want to thank the management and performers of SAPA for enabling us to help RESCU, a great charity for supporting modern traveling artists.
We were lucky enough to meet several individuals who were helped by RESCU (from pneumonia to life saving chemotherapy treatments) and this really hit home with us that it was a great cause.
Now Booking New Shows!
We are in the process of booking shows in the DFW area, so keep an eye on our site, subscribe to our malining list (see below) or get our RSS feed!
If you know of a great place you would love to see us at, or even book a special event let us know!
A Faire Season…
We had a great run at scarby this season, and wanted to thank all our fans that came by and saw our shows! Even with some rough weather we made a lot of laughs and had a lot of awesome shows.
We made a lot of changes to our shows this year, from both our short-form water balloon shows to our ‘11:30′ mixed format show and were very happy with the results. There were a lot of new games and several new players and tons of new laughs this season…and of course, bunches of new fans!
Speaking of fans, our recent t-shirt give away winners are:
- Christian the Firefighter
- Jennifer E.
(we are contacting them…)
Of course, anyone else interested in a shirt (or a mug, or a shot glass, etc.) can just contact us on our website and let us know what you want!
If anyone had a chance to see our shows at Scarby, leave us a comment and let us know what you liked or didn’t like!
Until next time, live, love and laugh ~ MPIII

Congratulations on the RESCU show congratulations on the RESCU show. glad to have contributed and enjoyed the laughs. I’d say you guys let your hair down, but that only applies to Rob. Kaboom was great; but all the players were amazing.
Thanks!
We had a blast at the RESCU show. Its a lot more of a ‘loose’ format and thus we get a lot more …experimental…both in games and content.
One thing that really made it personal for us, was knowing some of the folks who have directly benefited from the charity. One friend was helped with hospital bills during a bad case of pneumonia, and another excellent artist was helped with chemotherapy treatments who has made a cancer recovery!
Sometimes we forget just how important good health care really is, and how many go without it. We are honored to help out, even it just in a small amount.
Of course, having a total blast in a very rowdy show is just a bonus!
thank you to everyone for your great support in this cause.
~ Dave, Brian and Rob.
What’s a Farie Season?
Does it run the same time as deer season?
Call me guys- I think I found the camera with your “lost show”…. just leave 3000 water balloons (half red, half blue, half yellow) behind Kaboom’s stage at midnight.
and come alone…..

That’s great about RESCU ! Will there be drive at TRF?
I am doing everything possible at the moment to be able to make opening weekend.
Insert ‘a’ between BE and DRIVE in the above unchecked post.
Ya know…never mind… I’m going to start talking and typing using the least possible amount of words possible.
(possible new game for the show….)
Starting now:
K.
Hope see there.
Having faire withdrawals.
Beer good.
Heh…don’t worry scott, we were able to add our own vowels.
We are not sure about any RESCU drives at TRF, I am sure there are some, but we are not as connected there as we are in other venues.
Usually we are working street shows at TRF where we try new improv structures or just experiment with un-tested material or performance themes. Street shows are great for this, in that you can hit up multiple groups in a short period of time, and if the material is not working out, just move on to the next audience(similar to lane performing).
We will make posts about TRF as we get closer to the run, until then we are focusing on our upcoming shows in the DFW area.
